The Clinic, founded by Dr Gregorio Manzanera in 1980, began its work in obstetrics and gynaecology by introducing the first ultrasound machine in La Rioja.
In 1990, the Clinic was the first to introduce artificial insemination techniques with sperm capacitation and achieved the first gestations in the same year.

At the beginning of 2002, the Human Reproduction Unit was created, including IVF and ICSI techniques. This advancement made Manzanera Fertility Clinic the first centre in La Rioja to offer the possibility to carry out all the techniques in assisted reproduction. Since then, many babies have been born because of these fertility techniques performed by Manzanera Fertility Clinic.

The project to provide help for the international patients began in 2013. Since then, we have helped to achieve pregnancy for women from numerous countries.
Parallel to the work in reproduction, obstetric-gynaecological diagnostics and therapeutics were improved by introducing high-definition ultrasound, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and laser.

In March 2005, the Clinic moved to Calle Ingeniero La Cierva nº 10, expanding its healthcare services by opening Outpatient Surgery as well as upgrading the andrology and embryology laboratories.

Manzanera Fertility Clinic has served La Rioja since 1980 by providing the latest technological advances to take care of women’s health.
