Embryo selection: EMBRACE
EMBRACE: improves the embryo selection
  • EMBRACE is a test analysing cell-free foetal DNA released by the embryo into the culture medium between the fourth and sixth or seventh day of embryo development.
  • EMBRACE applies solely to the culture mediums obtained from the blastocysts on the sixth or seventh day of development. This diagnostic is impossible when embryo development is shorter.
  • EMBRACE classifies the embryos by sorting them according to the probability of containing normal chromosomes. With this data, it is possible to decide what embryo should be transferred first in an IVF cycle to improve the possibility of becoming pregnant with a healthy baby.
EMBRACE is ideal for patients who wish to increase their chances of becoming pregnant without invasive techniques on the embryos.

THE MAIN BENEFITS OF THIS TEST

Non-invasive solution, making the IVF treatment safer and more efficient.

Reduced number of cycles and the time necessary to achieve pregnancy.

Chance to avoid embryo biopsies and reduce the costs which facilitates access to this test for more women.
