We can say that these “good” germs remove those germs potentially prone to cause infections.
There are several Probiotics in the human body and their location is diverse. The most studied are located in the digestive system, where they are even able to promote the absorption of some nutrients, the synthesis of some vitamins, and improve the immune system.
A century ago, Elie Metchikoff, Russian Nobel laureate and professor at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, postulated that there are some bacteria, which produce lactic acid and have beneficial effects on health as well as being able to promote longevity.
One of the most important probiotics, especially regarding human fertility and reproduction, is the genus Lactobacillus, a wide set of microorganisms that can act improving the success rates of the reproduction techniques, both In Vitro Fertilization (IVF / ICSI or Egg Donation) and Natural Reproduction.
These microorganisms are still being studied, classifying their different varieties. To have an idea about the complexity of their identification, we must know that our human cells express 23,000 genes and the set of microorganisms that live in our body are capable of expressing 3 million.
In particular, the Lactobacillus of the genus plantarum and rhamnosus improve the number of germs in the vagina, increase the presence of cytokines that promote embryonic implantation, and also diminish premature deliveries. While the crispatus variety improves sperm morphology and concentration.
CONCLUSIONS
Probiotics are a group of germs that can improve both natural reproduction and IVF (IVF / ICSI or Egg Donation) as well as the Embryonic Implantation.
Although we are still in the beginning of knowing these germs, it is proved that an adequate level of Lactobacillus in the endometrium improves the embryonic implantation rate.
You can send us your questions at info@centromedicomanzanera.com or through the contact form that you will find on our website https://centromedicomanzanera.com/en/formulario_en/
Gregorio Manzanera

IMAGE: https://www.gutmicrobiotaforhealth.com/es/la-comunidad-cientifica-defiende-la-eficacia-de-los-probioticos/
#assistedreproduction
#fertilitytreatment
#eggdonation
#IVF
#ICSI
#ivficsi
#artificialinsemination
#manzaneraclinic
#probiotics

The term Microbiota comprises a set of germs or microorganisms, which live inside the human body and that have been usually associated with infections and diseases.
